Why would anyone think parents have the time or the energy or the desire to take a parenting class?
We know you’re tired. Between your job, raising your children, maintaining your home and doing all those errands, you simply don’t have the time or the energy for anything else, let alone take a class on parenting.
Besides all that, everyone’s probably telling you how to raise your children. Either you’re too permissive or you’re too authoritarian. You’re too involved or not involved enough. One parenting book tells you to have a family bed; another tells you don’t, under any circumstances, allow your child to sleep with you. The school tells you your child is not trying hard enough, while his therapist says he’s under too much stress to succeed.
And we know that oftentimes being a parent is a scary proposition. We are constantly on-guard trying to keep our children safe. But, deep down, we know we are not enough to protect them from the rest of the world. The nightly news is filled with horror stories of abused and murdered children. Or of children who have gone bad, given up or given in to a life of crime, violence, mayhem. Dr. Phil, Nanny 911 and Brat Camp all tell you it’s the parent’s fault.
You don’t need a parenting class to tell you more ways you’re doing it wrong!
Parenting On Purpose & By Design is not that kind of class...
Think of 90 minutes a week that is devoted entirely to YOU: supporting you in a gentle, loving, accepting manner. Ninety minutes that makes you feel so good about yourself that it energizes you and brings you back to the joys of parenting. Just 90 minutes a week to build upon what you’re doing right as a parent to lovingly transform all of your relationships: with your children, your significant other, your own parents, your co-workers & colleagues, even that neighbor down the street that dislikes you so much.
We know that Parenting is the most Sacred job on the planet...
...and the most difficult. We know, because we’re parents ourselves. We’ve been chronically tired, scared for our children and doing it all for long periods of time without loving support. We know, and after a while, we deliberately and consciously decided there had to be a better, easier, more loving way to live.
We began our search with a vision: a world of loving, harmonious families that allow each member to safely step into his/her Authentic Power — a place where the gift of each member's uniqueness is received, honored, cherished and nurtured.
And, once we had our vision, we sent out a prayer to find the tools and support we needed. And our prayers were answered. We discovered our greatest Spiritual Teachers were under our own roof: our children. We watched them and listened to them and found the path to our own inner healing.
And then, we saw the miracle of parenting: whatever we healed, acknowledged and accepted in ourselves, automatically, without words ever spoken, healed our children, our parents, our siblings and everyone we came into contact with. We had discovered the Sacred Path of Parenting.
And then we found other like-minded parents. Together, we shared our visions, our experiences, our miracles. Together,
- We saw ourselves as parents learning to meet our own spiritual needs, easily and effortlessly, and thereby modeling a spiritual lifestyle for our children.
- We heard the song of Global healing across the planet in the sounds of love and laughter and acceptance in each family.
- We felt the exhilaration and humility for the spiritual power that lies within ourselves and within our children.
- We experienced the generational healing that occurs as we pursued our own spiritual growth.
- We knew, in every cell of our Being, that families operating from their Authentic Power will affect positive, loving changes in our schools, in health care organizations, in local and global governments, in communities, businesses, and in relationships, easily and effortlessly.
And together, we co-created this program to share what we are learning with other parents. To support and walk alongside other parents on their Spiritual Journey. To help other parents heal the chronic fatigue and frustrations and fears by tapping into their own Authentic Power.

Parenting On Purpose & By Design is offered over phone, where all participants call in to the same telephone number, which acts like a conference call. You can interact with the instructor and other participants without having to travel or pay for lodgings.

That's because the Parenting On Purpose & By Design experience doesn't depend upon the presence of a spiritual leader to hold the energy of peace and love for you. What this program offers is NOT a cookie-cutter recipe for success. This program offers a customized plan to help you discover the self-coaching process for BEing in your Authentic Power that works for YOU and your family!
And this process is repeatable once you've completed the course. You'll know in the future when it's time for a change, how to discern what you need to effect the type of change you want, and how to choose aligned actions to make the changes.
Led by Sherry or Carolyn, both Master Level Spiritual Life Coaches, you’ll learn to:
- Joyfully develop a process for handling conflicts that works for even the youngest members of your family or members with special needs.
- Identify the Authentic nature of each family member and co-create an environment that nurtures and supports the spiritual and developmental needs of everyone!
- Emerge a Family Action Plan in order to deal with conflicts arising from pressures outside the nuclear family, such as extended family, school districts, medical professionals.
- Amazing ideas around "discipline" in its original context: to teach.
- Experience the power of generational healing through energy management
- Release judgments and fear so you can take powerful actions from a place of inspiration.
- Activate the power of coaching yourself from Spirit
- Take Action with support - learn practical and consistent steps that you can take to manifest your vision for an authentically empowered family.
Receive Weekly Group Support: Each week you'll meet on the phone with parents from all over the world to experience and learn the self-coaching tools that will help you reclaim your natural parenting style. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to apply the tools to your specific family situation and hear how other parents are using them too.
Receive One-On-One Support: As part of this program, you'll receive 60 minutes of individual coaching each month with a Master Level Spiritual Life Coach. These sessions can focus on specific issues arising in your family or life and help you adapt the tools and concepts provided in the program in a way that works for you and your family!
